A Short Technical Story

Fluxar Systems is the technical arm of Fluxar Studios Inc. Same great company, however the focus is on technology services rather than high impact design services.

In April of 1996 on 814th Street in Bakersfield California Elite Computer Systems was born. A hip little computer company specializing in turn key business computers, high-end custom gaming computers, non-linear video editing systems, and network services. Elite become Evolve Technical Consulting in 2005, merged with Fluxar Studios its parent company. Here we are today continuing to help our clients navigate the technical highways.

Technical Designer / Network Admin

Americas Technology Store is where it all started for me. Well, that's not true, it started on my Apple IIc in my bedroom! However, Radio Shack, at the grand ol' age of 19 pushed me deep into a computer driven world that I still eat, drink, and sleep today.

From Radio Shack I jumped over to a small computer company called Mainframes Minis and Micros, ran by a fellow named Jerry Bransom. Working with Jerry at Mainframes taught me so much about the tech industry. We were on the forefront of systems integration. In 1996 I ventured out on my own to start Elite Computer Systems. Elite ran strong with a wide range of technical services all the way till 2004. At this point in time Fluxar Studios Inc. was formed, and Elite become Evolve Technical Consulting. In 2017 Evolve dropped off and I combined everything over to the Fluxar Brand. Here I am today, almost 29 years later still loving tech!

In my spare time enjoy collecting and restoring vintage arcade games, high-fidelity audio and other weird stuff.... and even cooking.

I now reside again in Bakersfield, CA. I enjoy spending my free time hanging out with my wife Alycia and our 5 children.

MATTHEW EVANS

Network / Systems Engineer

For the last 20 plus years Matthew Evans has had his hand in some form of tech. As an instructor for New Horizons in the late 90’s, he began his consulting venture. It started off as just something to prove that even though he was an instructor, he could also do the work. That old adage “Those that do, do, and those that can’t, teach” was proven wrong time and time again. As companies began to see his skill level, they offered full time jobs. This shift didn’t stop him from helping smaller business get enterprise level help. He continued to provide consulting to local business to help them grow. This included getting businesses to adopt several innovative technologies like virtualization, disaster recovery, and VOIP phone systems. To this day he continues to provide businesses with top tier services that move them in the direction needed to expand without having to deal with technical parts.
